Wednesday, June 29th, at 15:00, our Sustainability Coordinator, Terena Cardwell, and Co-coordinator, Ledia Meha, will present the Travelife for Tour Operators programs in an online session hosted by Dua Partner Invest, in conjunction with Travelife.  In 2022, Elite Travel Group became the first Travelife Certified tour operator in Albania and the Western Balkans, and since then, both Ms. Cardwell and Ms. Meha, have completed Travelife coaching and auditor training to help support sustainability efforts in the Balkans.  In their work with Spoonbill Nest Innovation Center and Balkan Green, they are also the Green Destinations Representatives for Albania and Kosovo.

This meeting is not only for tour operators.  In addition to Travelife, another internationally recognized certification programs will be presented, the Good Travel Program from Green Destinations, which is designed for all types of tourism businesses, including accommodations, transportation, and activity providers. Both Travelife for Tour Operators and the Good Travel Program follow the Global Sustainable Tourism Council’s sustainability criteria, and have multiple participation and award levels.
